JOHN HAYS – Senior Pastor I enjoy: worshiping God! This is a huge delight in my life, even better than a Granville Gem Sundae from Whitt’s Frozen Custard. I also enjoy any outdoor activity except for golf. I think the sport would be a whole lot more exciting if carts were eliminated, clubs were strapped to your back, and you used a stopwatch. I love cutting fire wood and riding on my 1953 Ferguson Tractor and resting in the hammock at the man shed with Jan! Commenting on Live: Its name was originally embraced because of the “live” preaching of Pastor John instead of the “almost live” simulcast preaching in Emerge and Gospel Celebration. However, Live has become descriptive of all aspects of this service and not just the preaching. God’s Spirit is “live” and strong. The use of the latest technology and contemporary music keep the service fresh. With the use of an orchestra, choir, band, and praise leaders this is our venue with the most worshipper participation and the combining of all these elements make the experience a weekly extravaganza of praise! Come join us!! |

MARK HUTSKO – Minister of Music I enjoy: spending as much time as possible with my wonderful wife, beautiful children, and 9 awesome grand-children, cooking, traveling, camping, gardening, home remodeling/redecorating, and music, music, music. I find great joy - and am totally blessed - in worshipping our great and awesome God. Commenting on LIVE: Live is a venue of celebration! I experience great joy and exhilaration as I participate in worship, lead the choir and rejoice with my brothers and sisters in Christ. It is not enough to just tell the story of Jesus Christ - we must be Christ and demonstrate His love, mercy and grace to all. |
