When a Child Fails

I.    What every mother experiences. Acts 13:13 & Acts 15:37, 38

II.    What’s a mother to do?
               
    1.  Use prayer as your first and primary response to your child’s failure. Acts 12:12


    2.  Don’t let your child’s failure convince you that you are a failure. Acts 12:1-3


    3.  Fight the temptation to make failure as painless as possible for your child. Acts 15:38


    4.  Make sure your words communicate both grace and faith.


    5.  Trust the intervention of the church as it seeks to restore your child. Acts 15:37 & 1 Peter 5:13
