I.    Ahab: greed with no contentment.

    1.  The evidence; an obsession to possess Naboth’s vineyard. - I Kings 21:2

    2.  The emotion; he was sullen.


II.    Jezebel: ruthless with no conscience.

    1. The evidence; secured false witness to testify against Naboth’s character. - I Kings 21:7-10

    2.  The emotion; she was critical.


III.    Naboth: courage with no compromise.

    1.  The evidence; a commitment to God’s word and his family. - I Kings 21:3

    2.  The emotion; he was calm. - I Kings 21:13
