Living and Leaving a Legacy – Psalm 71:17, 18

I.    Grandmother’s and grandfather’s faith is not being embraced by their grandchildren. - Judges 2:10
  

II.    Grandparents have an increasing opportunity to leave a legacy of faith.

    1.    Grandparents are living longer.

    2.    More grandchildren are being raised by their grandparents.


III.    How grandparents can leave a legacy of faith.

    1.    Honor and respect your grandchildren’s parents.

    2.    Spend time with your grandchildren and make fun a premium.

    3.    Believe and believe in your grandchildren.

    4.    Tell your grandchildren how Christ has worked in your life, both when you were good and bad.
            
    5.    Pray for your grandchildren.

    6.    Speak often of your salvation and never avoid pointing them toward Jesus.
