The Father Who Forgives

Luke 15: 11 - 32 
 

I. The father never gives up the hope that today his child could come home. – Luke 15:20 
 

II. The father fills his heart with compassion. – Luke 15:20 

      1. Let the compassion grow willfully. 

      2. Let the compassion flow freely. 
 

III. The father runs to reconciliation. – Luke 15:20 

      1. To go forward, someone must go back. 

      2. Have a receptive heart to greet the repentant heart. 
 

IV. The father restores the child into the home.
