For Married and Engaged Couples
Journey To Oneness - God's Word says "The two shall become one" but clearly there are two people in a relationship with two distinctly different personalities - so how do two operate as one?
In this 8 week class we’ll learn how to achieve harmony, chemistry and synergy by focusing on the values that will allow us to overcome obstacles that could thwart God’s desire and our dreams for our relationships.
These values create a type of DNA that serves as a moral compass for making decisions in all our relationships. Couples must establish a set of shared values that will complement each other’s dreams and goals. Values like Faith, Family, Finances, Friendship and Sacrificial love help couples build a bright future together. These serve as building blocks to a vibrant lifelong relationship.
In the teaching, we’ll be introduced to a variety of couples who are at different stages of their relationship. These couples will help to illustrate the relational dynamics that occur throughout the different stages of a premarital and marriage relationship.
The cost of the class is $25 per couple which includes the J20 class, manual and a participant’s guide. The class will begin at 7:00 p.m sharp, so if you have children be sure to get them to their classes a little early.

Before you walk down the aisle, do you know where you're going? Today, more than ever, it is vital that you prepare for the important, lifelong task of building a Christian marriage. This study includes six fun, romantic sessions and five special projects that will prepare you as a couple for a loving, lasting marriage firmly established in Jesus Christ. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited. If you are considering marriage at Jersey Baptist Church, this class is required as part of our marriage counseling. Cost of book is $10.00. |
