NEW TO JERSEY?
Are you new to the community or looking for a new church home?
Welcome! Jersey is more than just a building; it a group of men and women, boys and girls who come together to worship God, grow in our knowledge of the Bible, develop meaningful relationships, get involved in ministry and go out to share Jesus with others.
We hope that you will make yourself at home. Grab a cup of coffee and join one of our worship experiences. We hope you will find Jersey to be a friendly place where you can encounter our great God.
We hope to see you soon!
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there activities for my preschool children?
If you have Preschool children, we have a safe and clean environment where they can learn foundational truths that will prepare them for making a commitment to Jesus Christ.
If it is your first time to Jersey, you will need to plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early in order to register your Preschooler(s). You can register in the Kidz Lobby at the Preschool Desk. Just ask one of our friendly greeters to show you to the Kidz Lobby or your child's classroom where you can meet the teachers.
Younger children may need you to stay with them for a few minutes while they adjust to their new environment.
Where do I take my grade school children?
If you have grade school children, you will need to sign them in at the Children's Welcome Desk on the lower level of the Education Complex. Our welcome team will then direct you to the grade specific classroom for your child.
Each of our Bible Fellowship classrooms is led by a teaching staff of two or more adults who love children and have the ability to teach them about the Bible.
For children in Kindergarden through the 3rd grade, they can also attend Jericho Junction (a children's worship experience). Children in grades 4 and up attend worship services with their parents.
I am a teenager, are there activities for me?
If you are in grades 7-12 we have a place for you. Jersey Students seeks to create a fun environment where teenagers can traverse through the difficult years of adolesence. Students in grades 7-8-9 begin in the Game Room where they can hang out with friends and play video games before class begins. The Bible Fellowship classes are small in order to allow our teachers to invest in the lives of each student.
On Sunday nights there are opportunities for indepth Bible Study through our discipleship program. Grades 7-8-9 have a mentoring program where students learn in conjunction with their peers and some adults who want to walk with them through life. Grades 10-11-12 can pick from some relevant courses to find one that will help them to grow and learn more about living for Jesus.
Wednesday nights is Youth Worship called Ground Zero. Each week you will experience music and messages that will help you as you seek to survive the jungle of challenges you face each day.
