Preschoolers are important at Jersey! Our preschool volunteers go far beyond just child care. They see their ministry as a God-given opportunity to help preschoolers and their parents experience and understand God's love and care for them.  All of our preschool ministry programs focus on eight key areas of age-appropriate learning for preschoolers: God, Jesus, The Bible, Church, Creation, Self, Family and Others

 

 

 

I'm a Kindergartner Now
June 16 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM 
Please join us for this free event for new kindergartners (2012/2013 school year) and their parents. Kindergartners will participate in school day type activities, be introduced to the Kidz of the Kingdom Children's Ministries and receive a t-shirt and a bag of school supplies. 

First Steps Seminar
August 4, 2012
A required seminar for parents who wish to participate in the Parent Child Dedication; where parents will be recognized as a primary faith influencer for their child and family. Child Care will be provided.  Please sign up at the info point between July 1 - July 29 (for the August seminar).  Parents who have participated in past  dedications are welcome to sign up as well.

 
Parent Child Dedication
Our next Parent Child Dedication is scheduled for August 12, 2012 during the 9:45 Emerge and 11:00 Live services. If you are an active member of Jersey Baptist Church, and would like to participate in the Parent/Child dedication you must attend a 2 hour seminar, called First Steps (see information above). Please sign up Info Point in the Main Lobby. Please provide a picture of your child (fully clothed, please!) to be used in a slide presentation during the dedication service.

Security

Security is a prime consideration to protect our preschoolers. Parents are asked to pick up a pager and a Parent Card from the front desk and proceed to the preshool area down the hallway. To ensure your child's safety, we will have a security check point just byond the first white fire doors, before you enter into the Preschool area. 

Every guardian must have a Parent Card to gain access to the Preschool hallway.

If you are needed to return to your child's room prior to the end of service, you will receive a page on your Security Pager. Please come tot he Welcome Desk and give your name and your child's name to the Desk Volunteer. You will also need to turn in the Security Pager at this time. The Desk Volunteer will direct you to your childs classroom.
