JERSEY PRIME TIMERS

Prime Timers, the Senior Adult Ministry of Jersey Baptist Church, is a vibrant, energetic, active senior adult ministry that provides opportunities for Spiritual Enrichment, Fellowship, Learning and Service Opportunities.  Monthly Bible study, luncheon, and fellowship activities take place the second Thursday of each month.  In addition, we offer a variety of activities throughout the month from which to choose.  Check the list below for upcoming events:

BIBLE STUDIES

Evening Bible Study - Every Tuesday at 7:00PM.Join us at the home of Alice Clark, 1985 Harrison Rd, Johnstown.

Monthly Bible Study and Cover Dish Lunch - We meet on the second Thursday of every month for Bible Study at 10:30 am in Room 5019AB in the Adult Building, followed by a covered dish lunch at 12:00.  We will not meet in July due to the Chuck Wagon Cook Out - see details below.

Here's what's coming up in the next few months:

July 8 - Chuck Wagon Cook Out - Instead of our Monthly Bible Study and Covered Dish Luncheon, we will be meeting at the home of Wiley & Sandi Bard at 6:00 pm for an outdoor dinner.  No cost - bring a lawn chair.  Sign up at the InfoBoard.

August 12 - Trip to Mansfield Bible Museum

Aug 30 - Sept 2 Senior Celebration at the Billy Graham Cove- Refresh Your Soul at the Senior Celebration at the Cove in Ashville N. Carolina.  This refreshing 3-day conference, hosted by Cliff Barrows, addresses the specific concerns of seniors with teaching from God's Word to help you live for Christ and share Him with others.  Find renewal through inspiring Bible teaching, fellowship, enlightening workshops, and hymn-based worship.  While anyone is welcome to attend, the program for this event is designed for people ages 55 and up.  Upon leaving the celebration, we will travel to Charlotte and visit the Billy Graham Library.

Registration envelopes are available at the InfoBoard in the church lobby. Here are the costs:

Conference cost due by July 10th: $180 per person (includes conference fee, all materials, all meals during the conference). 

Lodging cost due August 10th:  Per night-per person: $80 king bed//2 double beds-2 people: $40 each//2 double beds-4 people: $20 each. 

Transportation cost due August 10th: based on number attending but will not exceed $150.
